What to Expect
Drop Off and Pick Up
You may come anytime Sunday afternoon after 1 p.m. to register. Registration lasts from 1 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. If you can't make it by then, please let us know so arrangements can be made. Camps ends on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. for a one week session and Thursday at 10:30 for an 11-day session.
Parents/relatives/guardians are invited to attend the closing devotional the night before, which begins at 8 p.m.starting at Rec 1 and finishing at the bottom of Bee Rock.
Airport Pick Up
This must be arranged with the office no later than 1 week prior to the session starting. The cost is $30 for each ride to and from the airport. If more than one child is on the same flight, the cost is $15 per child, per ride. Arrivals must be between 11:30am and 5:00pm on Sunday at Little Rock National Airport. Departure should be before 11:00am on the last day of camp.
What to Bring
Bible, pen or pencil, flashlight, insect repellent, swimsuit, sunscreen, towels, camera, sleeping bag, pillow, toiletries, shorts, socks, shoes (no open-toed shoes and no flip-flops except to and from the pool), stamps and envelopes.
Clothing
Modest clothing is required. The length of shorts must be closer to the knees than the inseam union. Shirts must at least have short sleeves. The bottom of the shirt must overlap the top of the pants or shorts. No tank tops of any kind, muscle shirts, or spandex shirts, shorts or pants.
Visiting and Phone Calls
Parents may visit their children only after checking in at the office upon arrival. If no one is in the office, please find a counselor or staff member at the Dining Hall before going to see your camper. Campers may not leave the camp grounds without parental permission.The guardian must sign the camper out at the office before leaving.
We don’t let campers call home everyday or whenever theywant.During the 11-day sessions, thecampers will be given an opportunity to call home on Saturday or Sunday. If you want your child to call home, s/heneeds to know in advance.Not allcampers choose to call home.Campers cancall home with a calling card, calling collect, or with a cell phone that hasbeen checked in at registration.
Cell Phones and other electronics will be taken up atregistration and returned on the last night of camp. We encourage you to leave all electronics at home, however.
Mail
Parents can drop off mail and packages for their children the day of registration. All items MUST have the camper's name and age, along with which day it is to be delivered. Mail sent to us is checked Monday - Friday, so please make sure packages arrive during the week.
