What to Expect

What to Bring

Bible, pen or pencil, flashlight, insect repellent, swimsuit, sunscreen, towels, camera, sleeping bag (or sheets), pillow, toiletries, a change of clothes for each day, shoes (sneakers and open-toed sliders are preferred), stamps and envelopes.

While the cabins are fully indoors and have air conditioning, campers will be outside for a large portion of the day. We suggest they bring clothes to run around in and ones that you don’t mind getting messy.

Modest clothing is required. The length of shorts must be closer to the knees than the inseam union. Shirts must at least have short sleeves. The bottom of the shirt must overlap the top of the pants or shorts. No tank tops of any kind, muscle shirts, or spandex shirts, shorts or pants. Laundry service is available for sessions 2, 3 and 4. Cost is $4 per load. Payment is made at the registration line. There is no need to bring additional money to camp.

Visiting and Phone Calls

Parents may visit their children only after checking in at the office upon arrival. If no one is in the office, please find a counselor or staff member at the Dining Hall before going to see your camper. Campers may not leave the camp grounds without parental permission. The guardian must sign the camper out at the office before leaving.

We have over a hundred campers each session and couldn’t accommodate each one’s request to call whenever they’d like.  During the 11-day sessions, the campers will be given an opportunity to call home on Saturday or Sunday.  If you want your child to call home, s/he needs to know in advance and a reachable number needs to be left on file to contact you.

Cell phones and other electronics will be taken up at registration and returned on the last night of camp.  We encourage you to leave all electronics at home, however.

Parents can drop off mail and packages for their children the day of registration. All items MUST have the camper’s name and age, along with which day it is to be delivered. Mail sent to us is checked Monday – Friday, so please make sure packages arrive during the week. Mail should be sent to:
